How would you describe your style?

Our approach moves seamlessly between documentary wedding photography, and a more editorial approach, adapting to what each wedding— and each person— needs. This allows us to capture candid interactions as they unfold, while also creating more refined and thoughtfully composed images when the moment calls for it.

We respond to the energy of the day and the people in front of us; this flexibility allows us to capture everything from subtle, heartfelt connections, to chic portraits without ever losing what makes you, you.

Above all, we aim to create an exciting and easy going wedding photography experience that makes you feel comfortable, confident, and truly seen, from beginning to end.

3 photographers that’s great, but how does it work?

We are a small, close-knit team of three wedding photographers based in Toronto: Stef, Hannah, and Ethan. Having a team means built in support and reliability; if something unexpected were ever to happen, there’s always someone ready to step in seamlessly, without disrupting your big day day.

We have been friends and have worked side by side for years, and know each other’s rhythm, approach, and standards inside and out. Our shooting style, pacing, and attention to detail remain consistent, ensuring your photos feel cohesive no matter who is behind the camera.

Wedding photography coverage typically includes one photographer, with the option to add a second or third photographer depending on the scale and flow of your celebration. However your day unfolds, we want to create the right package that supports your day, your plans, and your story.

What’s the process like for receiving photos?

A few days after your wedding, you’ll receive a small preview gallery so you have something to enjoy and share while we complete the full edit. It’s a first look at your day and an exciting reminder of everything you just experienced!

Your complete wedding gallery will be delivered within 4-6 weeks through a private online gallery. From there, you’ll be able to view, share, and download your images in high resolution with ease.

Let’s talk money: what’s the payment breakdown?

For bookings 4hrs or less we do two 50/50 instalments; half due as a non-refundable retainer to secure your date, and the remaining balance due 4 weeks after your wedding.

For bookings 5hrs or more we do three instalments; $900 non-refundable retainer to secure your date, 50% of your balance due 4 weeks before your wedding, and the remaining balance (with any additional hours or optional extras) due 4 weeks after your wedding.

E-Transfer is our preferred method of payment. We also accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Amex) and PayPal.

We do not offer tax free discounts for cash payments. Unfortunately wedding photography is not considered an applicable service for status / tax-exempt cards, whether on or off a rez.

Are there any additional fees for travel?

Our complimentary travel range is 80km round trip from Toronto, with travel thereafter charged at $0.80/km.

For example: Gravenhurst, ON is 328km round trip from our home base, meaning 248km will be subject to travel fees (248km x $0.80/km), for an additional $198.40.

For international events we have an all inclusive destination wedding photography package— with coverage, travel, and accommodations included— to simplify the process as much as possible. With that said, we are completely open to customizing a package that best suits your destination and your celebrations— let’s chat about it!

Take a peek at our TRAVEL NOTICE page to see where we are visiting throughout the year. If listed, we will be accepting weddings and smaller sessions in that location with no additional airfare and/or accommodation fees.

How does an engagement session work?

Engagement sessions are a great way to spend a little time together before your wedding day, and to get comfortable in front of the camera. It gives you space to ease into the experience, connect with us, and walk away with photographs that simply celebrate this exciting chapter of your relationship.

Sessions can be scheduled anytime up to two months before your wedding, last up to 90 minutes, and allow for multiple outfit changes if you’d like. Many couples choose one more dressed up look and one more relaxed option, but there’s no right or wrong approach. Engagement sessions can take place at home, at a meaningful location, or simply somewhere that photographs beautifully and fits your vibe. We’re always happy to help with location ideas and planning a session that looks and feels true to you.

Engagement sessions are offered at a discounted rate for couples who book a wedding photography package.

Final high resolution images are delivered within 1–2 weeks in a private online gallery, ready to view, share, and download.

We all operate on Mac computers always always always backing up our work onto external hard drives and 2 cloud storage systems.

*We’re slowly starting to incorporate 35mm and 120mm film more and more, and while we don’t have any set packages for film photography (yet), if you’re interested in this please just ask :)

Share a fun fact about yourselves!

Stef loves disco music and absolutely has to sing out loud if she hears a song that she knows (and she’s not a good singer…)

Ethan has broken both wrists + his femur + his kneecap while mountain biking with the last 2 at the same time, think: man on bike vs. tree. You can see more of Stef & Ethan’s personal and editorial work here.

Hannah has a secret human superpower that was handed down to her from her mom— her eyes don’t water when she’s cutting raw onions. You can see more of Hannah’s personal and fine art work here.

Can you share a photo of your dogs?

This is probably the most important question! Here are the dog loves of our lives, Blue & Peach (L) & Razzie (R). Don’t hesitate to ask for more photos if it better informs your decision about us working together ;)

Bonus content for making it this far down:

You know how they say that best friends don’t have very many photos together? That’s all too true for us— and kind of ironic considering we’re professional photographers— so here are the only other 4 photos of Rosewood Studios all together that exist in the world:

Top left, 2012-ish: Possibly skipping class? Definitely walking to the Burger King across the street from our school campus lol. Taken by our friend Lane.

Top right, 2016: Our first (and for… 4 whole years, the only) formal photo together. Taken in Greece by Hannah’s husband, Yiannis.

Bottom left, 2019: A not so great photo of us at Hannah’s wedding in 2019. Taken by unknown, possibly her husband? After so many gin & sodas none of us can remember haha.

Bottom right, 2023: At a wedding we were all working! Look at us remembering to take our own photo :’)
