Sarah & Kyle's Early Morning Engagement at Port Credit
After a lot of humming and hawing Sarah & Kyle made their way to Ontario from Saskatchewan…
As we all know travel has been difficult lately and we were all really on the fence about getting together, but in the end they decided that this may be their one and only opportunity for who knows how long to visit their families (the first time in months, at that!), do some wedding work, and shoot their engagement session with us, so they took advantage of the opportunity and we’re so grateful that they did! This family session may have been our first shoot back, but this engagement session was our first couples shoot back in the COVID era! (I personally find) Kids are easier to photograph because they have such large personalities and do their own thing, it’s so easy to shoot! Working with adults, a couple at that, is different. The same anxious excitement and nervousness we felt for the family session was alive and well leading up to this shoot, but just like last time, once we got started all of those fears seemed to drift away!
While talking about locations for this shoot we decided on Port Credit so we can explore both a waterfront option and a greenery option and I’m so glad we did! Sarah wore a brilliantly red dress that was absolutely stunning against the calm blue water and the green trees and grass! We took a lap around the waterfront and worked our way up a trail where S+K switched into casual wear (by jumping into a bush to changes- thanks guys!!) and we played around in a field, cuddling, and slowly dancing.
